Valorant Patch 10.09: Tejo and Breach Nerfs Shake the Meta

Valorant Patch 10.09 brings impactful balance changes targeting the overperforming Tejo, Yoru, and Breach composition seen in pro play. Following Yoru’s previous nerf, Tejo receives a full rework. His Guided Salvo now starts with one free charge and no cooldown, but its targeting range is reduced. His Stealth Drone now costs 400, while Special Delivery becomes cheaper at 200. His ultimate, Armageddon, now costs 9 points.

Breach also gets a slight nerf — Fault Line’s fuse time increases from 1.0s to 1.2s, giving enemies more time to react. These changes are expected to push teams back toward classic Double-Initiator or Double-Controller setups.

In Swiftplay, ultimate charges for Breach, Viper, and Killjoy are increased to make them more viable before halftime.

The Give Back Bundle arrives May 15 — players can prepare by topping up Valorant Points on trusted platforms like LootBar.

Bug fixes include the Bolt skinline’s glowing bug, which Riot has decided to keep as a visual Easter egg.

Patch 10.09 shifts the aggressive playstyle of Tejo-Breach comps toward more balanced and strategic play.
